Law Curriculum
Criminal and Civil Law
This course is a general
introduction to Canada's legal system. It covers such topics as:
Sources of law in Canada, classification of laws, Charter of Rights and
Freedoms, and the Young Offenders Act. (2 credits)
Contemporary Issues
This Course focuses on topics
that are of interest to students from a political, social and economic
perspective. Students will have the opportunity to identify, analyse,
discuss and propose solutions to such issues as globalization, world
poverty, rights and liberties, etc. (2 Credits)
