Lester B. Pearson is a true community school offering a variety of programs to meet the needs of its individual students.

This challenging course of study is aimed at the students who perform well on the placement tests. The honours group follows an accelerated Math/Science program to enable the students to enroll in Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics.

Special needs students are provided with a genuine sense of self-confidence. A caring staff, I.E.P.'s, and the modified M.E.L.S. programs encourage students to succeed.

The majority of the LBP population follows the standard M.E.L.S. curriculum.

This program is offered to outstanding students at the Secondary V level in order to help them fulfill the Math/Science prerequisites for the science program at the C.E.G.E.P. level.

In addition to extra subjects in French, this program allows students to graduate from LBP with valued Langue Maternelle credits on their Releve de Notes from M.E.L.S.
